Jackson Hole’s rustic yet refined lifestyle is defined not only by the stunning natural environment, but also by a strong sense of community.
At the gateway to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, Jackson Hole is a vibrant community surrounded by some of the most dramatic scenery in the world. Our rustic yet refined lifestyle is defined not only by the stunning natural environment we live in, but also by a strong sense of community. We strive diligently to maintain our unique Western character through thoughtful planning, careful land use and extensive charitable giving.
In more recent years, Jackson Hole has become increasingly known for its happening nightlife, cultural activities and metropolitan amenities. Now, after a day of skiing or a hike in the mountains, you can grab a burger at the Brew Pub or a filet mignon at the Snake River Grill. Or you can unwind with a calming treatment at one of the many luxurious spas. Some may find two-steppin’ at the Cowboy Bar or gettin’ down with a reggae band at the Mangy Moose the best way to spend the evenings. And, the Grand Teton Music Festival at Teton Village features a summer full of symphonies, lectures and children’s events.
Center for the Arts
One of town’s most recent additions is the Center for the Arts. The pavilion offers plenty of space for art classes, non-profit organizations, art exhibits and studios. The complex also includes a state-of-the-art theater for hosting shows such as Willie Nelson, Keb’ Mo, The Neville Brothers and Jackson’s local Hootenanny. Locals and visitors alike find delight in this cultural hot spot.
Flying to Jackson Hole has become much easier and much more affordable. These days, daily jet service from major cities is provided by American, Delta, United and Frontier. In fact, since the expansion of the runway in 2002, planes as big as Air Force II have been able to fly into this resort community. Every day, more and more visitors discover Jackson Hole’s allure.
In addition to attracting more visitors, Jackson Hole is attracting more new residents. People are migrating to this community because of our serene Rocky Mountain location and the daily commercial airline services, and also because Wyoming has been rated the most tax-friendly state in the nation. But, being a resident of the Cowboy State offers more than just monetary advantages. Wyoming also has one of the lowest unemployment rates, is rich in agriculture and natural resources, and is one of the least populated states making the crime rate extremely low. These attributes have helped shape our community and our growing real estate values.
